Midwest-CBK “Passport to Success” Sweepstakes
Official Rules
1) Program Description: No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win. A purchase will not increase your odds of winning. There are seven (7) promotion periods.
· Promotion Period 1: Midwest-CBK Atlanta Showroom, AmericasMart, Building One, Suite 16A7, 240 Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30303. January 11-18, 2012. Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. (EST) on January 11, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (EST) on January 18, 2012.
· Promotion Period 2: Midwest-CBK Seattle Showroom, Pacific Market Center, Suite 133 & 134, 6100 Fourth Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98108. January 11-17, 2012. Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. (PST) on January 11, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (PST) on January 17, 2012.
· Promotion Period 3: Midwest-CBK Dallas Showroom, World Trade Center, Suite 407 & 409, 2050 North Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75207. January 18-24, 2012. Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. (CST) on January 18, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (CST) on January 14, 2012.
· Promotion Period 4: Midwest-CBK Minneapolis Showroom, Minneapolis Gift Mart, 465 Green Gallery, 10301 Bren Road West, Minnetonka, MN 55343. January 20-24, 2012. Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. (CST) on January 20, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (CST) on January 24, 2012.
· Promotion Period 5: Midwest-CBK Seattle Showroom, Pacific Market Center, Suite 133 & 134, 6100 Fourth Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98108. January 25-29, 2012. Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. (PST) on January 25, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (PST) on January 29, 2012.
· Promotion Period 6: Midwest-CBK Chicago Showroom, The Merchandise Mart, Suite 13-155, 222 Merchandise Mart Plaza, Chicago, IL 60654. January 19-25, 2012. Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. (CST) on January 19, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (CST) on January 25, 2012.
· Promotion Period 7: Midwest-CBK Las Vegas Showroom, World Market Center, Building C, Suite 999, 455 South Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89106. January 30-February 3, 2012. Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. (PST) on January 30, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (PST) on February 3, 2012.
Two (2) travel prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during these seven (7) promotion periods.
2) How to Enter: Only open to trade retailers: gift and home industry retailers. Retailers must register by completing a Midwest-CBK “Passport to Success” entry form available at any of the Midwest-CBK showrooms during the above stated promotional periods.
By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements. Limit one entry per person. The Sponsor (MVP Group International, Inc.) is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, any omission, interruption, defect, or any other error malfunction. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
3) Winner Selection/Notification/Odds: Two (2) Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the seven (7) above stated promotion periods. The drawing will be conducted on or about February 15, 2012 by an employee of MVP Group International, Inc., whose decision is final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. All potential Prize Winners are subject to eligibility verification and compliance with these Official Rules. MVP Group International, Inc. will notify Potential Winners by email, overnight delivery service and/or U.S. mail. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
4) Prizes: The two (2) Prizes are a FREE trip to Paris, France to be taken between March 1, 2012 and April 30, 2012 or September 1, 2012 and September 30, 2012 or Nassau, Bahamas to be taken between May 1, 2012 and July 31, 2012. Each Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation for Prize Winner and one (1) guest to their choice of Paris, France or Nassau, Bahamas from a single major U.S. gateway airport nearest Prize Winner’s home (as determined by Sponsor), plus 4 nights double occupancy hotel accommodation (as determined by Sponsor) and transfers. Any expenses not explicitly listed herein, including any applicable tax on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winners. Travel must be completed on dates specified by Sponsor or Prize will be forfeited. Specifics of prize travel package are subject to availability and Sponsor’s sole discretion. Complete terms and conditions of prize will be furnished with prize notification. Travel must be made through Sponsor’s agent on a carrier of Sponsor’s choice. Reservations are subject to availability. Travel restrictions, location of lodging variations, and blackout dates may apply. Prize Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents. The guest of the Prize Winner must be at a minimum, 18 years of age or the age of majority in the state in which he or she resides, and will be required to execute and return a Travel Release and a liability/publicity release (unless prohibited by law) prior to ticketing. Estimated retail value of the Prize is $5000.00. Actual value may vary based on place of departure and dates of travel. Prize is NON-TRANSFERABLE AND MAY NOT BE SOLD; no substitutions or cash awards allowed, except at the discretion of the Sponsor in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Any taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winners and his/her guest. All details of any prize not specified herein shall be determined solely by Sponsor. Prize will be awarded by e-mail, overnight delivery service and/or U.S. mail.
5) Eligibility: Sweepstakes is only open to trade retailers: gift and home industry retailers of the 50 United States, District of Columbia, Canada, Mexico, or any other international country who is 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. All information on the entry form must be filled in and the applicants tax identification must be valid. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of MVP Group International, Inc., their respective parents (if any), affiliate companies, subsidiaries, association partners, participating retailers, vendors, prize suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members (parents, spouse, siblings, children) or anyone who lives in the same household of each (whether related or not) are not eligible. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this promotion.
6) General Conditions: The laws of the state of South Carolina govern this sweepstakes. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Participation constitutes your full and unconditional agreement of acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. The potential winners will be notified by e-mail, U.S. Mail and/or overnight delivery service and will be required to execute and return by overnight delivery service an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability, and where legally permissible, a Publicity Release within fourteen (14) days following receipt of same. Non-compliance with this time period and/or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein in a timely manner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use winner’s name, voice, picture and other likeness for advertising, promotional and other purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. No more than the quantity of prizes listed in these rules will be awarded. By entering this promotion, participants waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, or attorneys’ fees and agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, distributors, agencies, suppliers and advertising, promotional and judging organizations and each of their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders and agents (collectively, the “Releasees”) from and against any and all claims, actions, and/or liability for any loss, injuries and/or damages (including, without limitation, any death or disability) sustained in connection with use of a prize or related to participation in this promotion. Participant further agree that in any cause of action, Releasees’ liability will be limited to the cost of participating in this promotion, and in no event shall Releasees be liable for attorney’s fees. You assume sole liability for injuries, including personal injuries and/or damage to property or prize, cause or claimed to be caused by participating in this promotion or the acceptance, loss, shipment, or use of any prize awarded. Sponsor is not responsible for any failure to contact entrants, whether due to technical or human error.
7) Prize Winner’s Names/Official Rules: The names of the Prize Winners and the Official Rules will be posted at http://www.mwcbk.com/t-passporttosuccess.aspx and in the Midwest-CBK showrooms listed above.
